| Description: | A 4-5 day ski trip using Tin Hut and/or Mawson Hut as a base for tours. The leader has postponed this tour until further into August or perhaps even September, depending on how the snow cover is faring. It looks like the problems of reduced snow cover and icy conditions may still be constraints on backcountry touring currently. So, giving things a bit more time might improve prospects. Exact details of the tour routes and dates will be decided by snow/weather conditions and discussions of participants. Participants should have solid intermediate skiing skills.
