Kosciuszko Tour XC Ski Race – 27th July 2024

All skiers are welcome to participate in the Kosciuszko Tour – from the serious racers to backcountry tourers and those who just want a fun day out touring the beautiful high country.

The CCCSC Kosciuszko Tour will be held on Saturday 27 July at Perisher Valley. The course will be approximately 18 kilometres in distance and will go wherever the best snow is on the day. Further details will be made available shortly.

The 2024 Kosciuszko Tour is on Saturday 27 July.

Time: 10am on 27 July 2024

Location:  Start and finish at the Perisher Nordic Shelter.

Approx distance: 18 km.

Separate Classic and Freestyle categories. Freestyle skiers will start 15 minutes after the Classic skiers.

Race Entry:  Online registration for the Kosciuszko Tour will be available through the Ski & Snowboard Australia (SSA  Events page.  Note: to use the online entry system you need to have a ‘SnowID’.  If you do not have a SnowID or are unsure if you have a SnowID, please visit Snowracer. It is free to register for a Snowracer membership and obtain a SnowID. For all enquiries regarding SnowID, please refer to Ski & Snowboard Australia at info@skiandsnowboard.org.au.   Entry for the 2024 Kosciuszko Tour will also be available via a hardcopy entry form.

Volunteers are needed to help run the Kosciuszko Tour, including course marshals and timing assistants. If you are available on the 27 July and would like to help out, please send a text to Jo-Anne Clancy on 0411 156 959.  There is accommodation available for volunteers on the weekend of the race.

 

Call for Club members (and family and friends) to help with the Kosciuszko Tour

Volunteers are essential to the successful running of the Kosciuszko Tour. There are a wide variety of tasks both before the event and on the day. You can still volunteer even if they want to participate in the Tour. If you would like to be involved please contact the race coordinator at cccscracing@gmail.com.

Accommodation near Jindabyne is available for Club volunteers and racers.
