| Description: | We will meet at the National Parks shelter at Perisher and then start skiing from the Nordic Shelter. We will ski via the “back route”, following the poles near Rock Creek to Porcupine Rocks and on to the Trapyard Creek/Johnnies Plain/Spencers Creek area. We will return along the Perisher-Charlotte Pass Road, although we might vary from that a little depending on the group’s progress. While not mandatory, it is suggested that participants consider staying at Kalkite on Saturday night, especially given that a relatively early arrival at Perisher carpark would be advisable given possible traffic queues if later. (Breakfast at the National Parks shelter or Nordic Shelter?) |
