Tour Program

The CCCSC Tour Program comes free with membership and swings into action as soon as the snow falls. Details and updates can be found on the Web Site and in the newsletter as well as at the Social Meetings.


PLEASE NOTE: The ACT COVID-19 Lockdown has ended and NSW restrictions have eased. The CCCSC Committee is currently reviewing what this means for CCCSC Activities. Touring and Social Activities may resume.  Please check this website for any updates on this situation.


Book yourself on a tour!

  • Contact the tour leader and have your name added to the list or
  • Put your name on the tour sheet at Club Night
  • The tour leader organises car pooling and gives any information required
  • Each passenger contributes towards the driver’s expenses

'Snow' camp and touring in the Mt Kosciuszko area
Charlotte’s Pass

Two nights of “snow” camping (but we will be aiming to find a pleasant grassy patch) and two days of skiing, plus an exit ski/walk on Thu. On Tues, we will ski/walk from Charlotte Pass to the Snowy Bridge/Seaman’s Hut/Upper Snowy River area, where we will set up camp. We will then make excursions out from that site, e.g. Mt Kosciuszko, Ramsheads, Townsend/Abbott Ridge. Some participants intend to travel down on Mon afternoon and car-camp at Island Bend; additional participants could also consider this.

Kunama & Club Lake Visit
Charlotte’s Pass

From Charlotte’s pass to Foreman’s Crossing to Kunama Cirque & Hut (ruin), then to Club Lake and back to Charlotte’s Pass

Mt Kosciuszko - Ramshead Area
Thredbo Main Terminal

Will catch the chairlift to the top of Thredbo then head along the metal walkway towards Mt Kosciuszko to reach the snow. May go to the top of Mt Kosciuszko or onto the Ramshead plateau.

Stockyard Spur / Mt Gingera

Will start from Corin Dam and climb the trail up Stockyard Spur to Pryors Hut and on to Mt Gingera. A steep trail with many steps and about 900m in elevation gain. Approx 21km return.
