Social Club Meetings

Our Social Club Meetings start in May and run through to September and everyone is welcome

COVID-19: CCCSC Touring and Social Activities have resumed. Please maintain normal precautions and check this website for any updates on this situation.

When

Tuesday nights, once per month.

Doors open 7:30pm – Meeting starts at 7.45pm.
Light refreshments will be provided.

Hughes Community Centre, Hughes Place, Hughes (near the Hughes Shops)

Parking

There is lots of paved and lit parking in Hughes Place, or very close by in Whittle Street.

The Hughes Community Centre has re-opened following the lifting of COVID-19 restrictions, but with some rules that need to be followed and which are covered in the Club’s COVID 19 Safety Plan

Notes:	Peter will talk about the World Masters Association, Cross-Country Skiing competition. The World Masters Association is aimed at skiers “…who have the ambition to achieve great results even in old age, but also recreational athletes, who consider the health and urge for movement as most important goal and not the ranking” [from the WMA Constitution]. This is important – you don’t have to be a ski champion or fast to participate…it is open to all! The World Masters Association was formed in 1982 as a worldwide association for Masters cross-country skiers, where “Masters” means 30yo or older. The next Masters World Cup XC Skiing will be in Tromsø, Norway from 25 February to 5 March 2027.
