Carruthers Peak
Charlotte’s Pass, Charlotte Pass NSW

Will start from Charlotte Pass, cross the Snowy River, then head up the track towards Carruthers Peak and Blue Lake. This trip may involve more walking than skiing, but there should still be a reasonable snow cover on the higher parts of Carruthers Peak. If the weather forecast isn’t good, could move the trip to the following day or following weekend.

Main Range Snowcamp
Charlotte’s Pass, Charlotte Pass NSW

Will head out from Charlotte Pass and camp overnight near Snowy Bridge, below Seaman’s Hut, which provides a good base to explore the surrounding area. A mostly flat ski (or walk) in to the campsite. After camp is set up there are a variety of hills and destinations to explore on skis. If the road to Charlotte Pass opens earlier then the trip might be brought forward a few weekends.  And if there is little snow around at this time the camp will still go ahead but we may do some walks in the area instead.
