The modern Charlotte Pass Open starts and finishes in front of the Kosciusko Chalet at Charlotte Pass and is a 5km loop race around the valley.

A 7.5km handicap race around the Perisher trails, stating at 11am.  Entry Fee includes post race BBQ lunch, drink and Presentation. This is also a fundraising event where all monies go towards XC Skiing.

The Coffee Tour leaves the Nordic Shelter at 9:00am. Different groups are formed according to skiing ability, which then head out with a guide to ski to a mystery destination within the Perisher XC trail area. The different groups usually arrive at roughly the same time out on the snow to socialise and consume coffee, cake, champagne and schnapps which are supplied Bring $10 to cover the cost of having great coffee and food. Register on the day.

2.5, 7.5, 15 & 30km Freestyle races held around the Perisher trails, starting at 9:30am.

Accommodation is available in shared cabins at Mt Beauty Caravan Park (The Park) for the period 19-24 August. Open to all members. Ski tours are usually conducted at Falls Creek, Mt Buffalo, Mt Hotham. Some members will also be skiing the Kangaroo Hoppet on 23 August. Confirm A.S.A.P. if you want to attend.

A club trip to New Zealand (Wanaka) to cross country ski at the Snow Farm, participate in the Merino Muster race and explore the area. This is a rare opportunity as the club has only gone to New Zealand a few times in last 20 years. We have booked two houses and hire cars.

A long weekend of day walks in the Blue Mountains in the Wentworth Falls (Lions Head or Kedumba Valley), Leura (Lockley’s Pylon & Du Faur Head) and Blackheath (Grand Canyon) areas, followed by camping at Ganguddy-Dunns Swamp in Wollemi NP for those interested in staying longer.
