Wilkinson’s Valley Snowcamp

We’ll access the Main Range using the chair from Thredbo to ski and set up a snow camp at Wilkinson’s Valley for two nights. We’ll do a day trip from there (eg to Mt Townsend).
We’ll leave Canberra very early on Saturday morning to meet up at the Thredbo overnight car park at 8:30am packed and ready to go.
This trip is suitable for skiers with intermediate skills and suitable snow camping equipment. We’ll be monitoring the weather forecasts and will confirm the trip is going ahead (Thursday night/Friday morning). If the trip can’t proceed due to weather we’ll aim to reschedule.
