| Description: | Ski on either day or both days. We will go where the snow looks good. The tempo will be pretty relaxed and ambitions will be tailored to the skill level of the group – that said, participants should not be beginners or almost-beginners. Possible areas for skiing include: Johnnies Plain (maybe Trapyard Creek) from Perisher; Thredbo River corridor from Dead Horse Gap; the Betts Creek-lower Paralyser area from Perisher. Accommodation is available at Kalkite ($60/night). Participants could travel down for whichever tour they are doing early on the day of the tour or travel to Kalkite the previous afternoon/evening. The leader intends to stay at Kalkite Tuesday night and probably also Monday night. |
