Synopsis. Patrick’s Everest journey starts with cross-country skiing in KNP, culminates with Everest’s summit, and ends with cross-country skiing in KNP.

Biodata. Patrick was the first Australian to climb two 8,000 metre peaks, was awarded the Star of Courage and Medal of the Order of Australia, and with fellow climber Paul Bayne, broke the world record for the longest stay at the last camp on Everest and above including Everest’s summit, that being 8 and a half days, (this record still stands)
